High-quality Print Solution

Offset book printing, also known as offset lithography printing, is a widely used commercial printing process for producing books, magazines, catalogues, and other printed materials in large quantities. This method is known for its ability to deliver high-quality, consistent results and is often used for projects that require precise colour reproduction and fine details.

The offset book printing process involves several steps:

1

Plate Creation

The image and text to be printed are transferred onto metal plates. These plates have areas that attract ink and areas that repel ink.

2

Ink Application

Ink is applied to the plates, adhering only to the image areas due to the hydrophobic properties of the non-image areas.

3

Transfer to Blanket

The inked image on the plates is transferred to a rubber blanket, which is then pressed onto the paper.

4

Printing on Paper

The rubber blanket makes contact with the paper, transferring the inked image onto the paper. This process is known as “offset” because the image doesn’t transfer directly from the plates to the paper, but via the rubber blanket.
