High-quality Print Solution

The offset book printing process involves several steps:
Plate Creation
The image and text to be printed are transferred onto metal plates. These plates have areas that attract ink and areas that repel ink.
Ink Application
Ink is applied to the plates, adhering only to the image areas due to the hydrophobic properties of the non-image areas.
Transfer to Blanket
The inked image on the plates is transferred to a rubber blanket, which is then pressed onto the paper.
Printing on Paper
The rubber blanket makes contact with the paper, transferring the inked image onto the paper. This process is known as “offset” because the image doesn’t transfer directly from the plates to the paper, but via the rubber blanket.
Offset Book Printing
Offers Several Advantages

High Quality
Offset printing provides sharp and clear images with consistent colour reproduction, making it suitable for books with intricate graphics, photographs, and fine details.

Cost-Efficiency
As the quantity of printed material increases, the cost per unit decreases, making offset printing economical for large print runs.

Versatility
Offset printing can accommodate various paper types, sizes, and weights, allowing for customisation of the final product.

Colour Accuracy
Pantone or spot colours can be accurately reproduced using offset printing, ensuring that the printed colours match the desired specifications.

Coating Options
Different types of coatings, such as varnish or UV coating, can be applied to enhance the visual appeal and durability of the printed materials.
Offset book printing is commonly used for textbooks, novels, coffee table books, magazines, and other projects where consistent, high-quality printing is essential. While the setup process for offset printing can be more involved compared to digital printing, the advantages in terms of quality and cost-effectiveness make it a preferred choice for larger print quantities and projects where colour accuracy is crucial.
